Shudder. Ugh. I guess I had to get this out of the way because I have big plans for gourmet French fries this weekend. I'm on a French fry tour of the Boise area as a salute to Idaho. Suggestions for the best fries in town? Pass them along!
Oh no, Wendy's used to be so good. Did they go downhill, too? I haven't been out to eat in years, but my wife said that the new french fry place downtown has pretty good fries (I forgot the name, but it used to be called Idaho Fry Company or something like that). I would try places that serve fish and chips (Bardenay's), Red Robin had good fries, or Burger and Brew. I've also found that bar/grills usually have some pretty tasty fries. Good luck on this tough assignment :)
Idaho Fry Company is now Boise Fry Company, burgers on the side. You'll have to go back every night for the next couple of weeks if you want to sample all they have to offer.
