Toasted Tortellini

I think I saw this tip on Pinterest. Toss frozen cheese tortellini in a little melted butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and roast at 325 degrees until brown and toasty. It worked as promised.

Seven Cheese Tri-Color Tortellini

Found the "seven cheese tortellini" offering at Costco. I had only heard of four-cheese before. Tossed it with a light Alfredo sauce and slivers of Black Forest ham. Parmesan and pepper on top.

Husband Cookery: Tortellini, Spinach and Ham

A super-yum dish! Cook fresh tortellini, drain. Saute diced red pepper, then add diced Black Forest ham. Season to taste and stir in baby spinach. Top with shredded Parmesan cheese.

Tri-Color Salad Disaster

Looks pretty, but in this case, looks are nothing. I experimented with a tri-color cheese tortellini salad. Yuck. The tortellini were the frozen kind. I cooked them one minute less than the directions indicated and they turned out mushy and most pieces had lost their cheese filling. I tossed with some Italian dressing and a bit of shredded Parmesan cheese to try to dress it up and it was still a failure. Lesson learned: fresh tortellini is probably a better option.
