Pot Roast Weather

Rain. Rain. Rain. Good week to simmer feel-good smells in the crockpot. Every time I make a pot roast, I always wish I had added more carrots. They might be the best part of the pot.

Market Carrots

I didn't know there were so many kinds of carrots. This offering was at the Capital City Market downtown Boise Saturday. We purchased two Chilean carrots. My daughter at them raw and said they tasted really sweet.

"New" Terra Chips - Sweet Potatoes and Carrots

A new kind of Terra Chip - which are vegetable chips made from other than regular potatoes. These are sweet potatoes and carrots. My family loves carrots so I thought these would be a hit, and they're healthy. My husband actually spit out his taste, and my daughter did the same. So much for that idea!
