Local Restauranteurs - Kyoto

Dinner at one of our regular spots last night. Meet Lee and Vincent, owners of Kyoto - a Japanese steak house and sushi bar. We think they serve the best sushi in town. And it's a great place to take groups of people for the steak house entertainment at the grills.

Artsy Shrimp Tempura

Shrimp tempura and the way it's presented makes kids happy. We hit up one of our regular eateries last night - Kyoto. The sushi was extra good, and sushi chef Vincent treated us to ice cream afterwards. I love that place.

Friday Night Special: Airborne Eggs

Kyoto was the dinner destination last night. Regular readers know it's a regular eatery for our family. We sat at the grill for the show, the warmth...and of course, the fresh food. We also ordered some sushi. It was a hot spot to be last night. Owners Lee and Vincent told us it was likely because regular Saturday night diners wouldn't be able to make it tonight because of Halloween festivities.

This is all I need for dinner. It's the Lisa Roll at Kyoto in Boise. It's a complicated blast of flavors.

Kyoto - at the Grill

Dinner at Kyoto in Boise Friday night. It's our favorite sushi place! But it's also a Japanese steakhouse with a grill show. And yes, you can order sushi even if you're sitting at the grill with friends chowing down on steak and shrimp. If you visit, say "hi" to Lee! And Vincent - the sushi chef we LOVE!
