I was among the millions who saw that viral video about spiral-cutting a hot dog. It makes it easier to stuff in the extras. Plus, even kids who don't want anything on their hot dogs think it's cool. That's just silly. This is grilling season so the way to cook dogs is to put them in hot water on the side burner, 160 to 200 degrees to plump them, then finish on the grill turning them frequently to avoid blistering or splitting. I hate it when you go to a BBQ and the dogs are split and burnt on the outside while still cold in the center
