Cubed ham, diced onion and diced red bell pepper wrapped in an egg sandwich. A quick dinner last night. The first three ingredients were sauteed. I liked to flip my omelette so the inside is fully cooked. Then I stuff it. Cheese was added, too. This is a two-egg omelette. I think omelettes used to be more popular a few years ago than they are today.

Omelette for Dinner
Cubed ham, diced onion and diced red bell pepper wrapped in an egg sandwich. A quick dinner last night. The first three ingredients were sauteed. I liked to flip my omelette so the inside is fully cooked. Then I stuff it. Cheese was added, too. This is a two-egg omelette. I think omelettes used to be more popular a few years ago than they are today.
That's funny, because I made my oldest a scrambled egg w/ cheese burrito for supper tonight.
ReplyDeleteMy wife likes her omelettes cooked-through, too. So, I end up finishing it in the oven. I then top it with some sour cream and salsa.
I need to keep some peppers and onions in the house, because they go well with just about everything.
